With the I-PASS almost 10 years old, tollway officials want to improve its electronic toll collection.
Just as the latest smartphone is replaced with better technology, so can a tollway’s electronic tolling system. Even worse than the speeders, are the people WITH or without transponders who blast at high speeds, through the stop signs, while using the manual lanes to the right of those using the 15 mph lanes. They almost sideswipe the car on their left as the two lanes narrow to one. When using the manual lane, EVERYONE is supposed to stop, transponder or not.
