Here is an item from the Village of Lisle Police Department blotter on May 15.
Paul C. Gleason, 26, of the 900 block of Inverness, Lisle, was charged with possession of cannabis and drug paraphernalia. Gleason was arrested at 10:45 p.m. May 15 at Route 53 and Maple Avenue. Here's an incident involving a Lisle resident.
SATURDAY, APRIL 13 Wheaton police charged Michael P. McCabe, 27, of the 2400 block of Shasta Drive, Lisle, with driving under the influence of alcohol and possession of cannabis. McCabe was driving a silver or aluminum 2002 Volkswagen Golf at 2:17 a.m. at Blanchard Street and Roosevelt Road in Wheaton when police initiated a traffic stop. McCabe was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

SATURDAY, MARCH 23 Wheaton police charged Eric Shultz, 25, of Lisle with possession of cannabis. He was arrested at about 9:45 p.m. near the intersection of Lorraine and Roosevelt in Wheaton. He was booked and released. TUESDAY, MARCH 19 Wheaton police charged Daniel E. Gallagher, 19, of the 2600 block of Bentley Court in Lisle with possession of cannabis. He was arrested at 9:20 p.m. near the intersection of Hazelton Avenue and Williams Street in Wheaton. He was released from the Wheaton Police Department later that night.

Thaddeus L. Scott, 42, of the 5400 block of Burr Oak Road, Lisle, was charged with possession of cannabis (30 grams and under) and resisting an officer at 9:50 p.m. March 14, according to police.

Kutrubis, 19, of the 2800 block of Torrey Pine Lane, Lisle, was charged with possession of cannabis — 30 grams and under at 4:20 p.m. at her residence.

GENEVA GLEN ELLYN BATAVIA A father reported at 9:36 p.m. Dec. 14 that his son had driven to the Arlington Heights area at 3 p.m., had not returned home and might be lost. An attempt to locate was put out to Chicago and District Two State police. At 11 p.m., the son was entered into the Law Enforcement Agencies Data System. The son finally returned home, and the system entry was canceled. A verbal dispute between a female and her boyfriend was reported at 7:17 p.m. Dec. 14 on the 400 block of Franklin Street. The boyfriend refused to leave the residence at first, but eventually agreed to leave and stay in a hotel for the evening. Blazek, 20, of the 900 block of South Ardmore, Villa Park, was charged with possession of less than 30 grams of marijuana after his arrest near Roosevelt and Baker Hill around 1:25 a.m. Dec. 13, police said. ST. CHARLES La Vie Encore, 211 S. 3rd St., reported a series of Christmas decoration thefts at 1:28 p.m. Dec. 12. The latest incident had occurred between 10 a.m. and noon that day, with theft of garland from the lower level south windows. The business reported to police this was the fifth such theft since Nov. 25, but the business apparently shrugged off the earlier thefts and not reported them to police.
