Lisle Ranks 23rd in DuPage for DUI Arrests
The village ranks 69th in Illinois, while Naperville police issued the second highest number in the state.
In 2010 Lisle police issued just over 100 driving under the influence charges, according to a survey released last month by the Alliance Against Intoxicated Motorists. The Alliance is comprised of prior drunk driving victims, according to their website. Approximately 518 of the departments surveyed responded. "Traffic safety advocates believe that drunk drivers who are arrested are the fortunate ones. In our impaired driving prevention programs, we always remind people that if they are driving drunk they are lucky if it is a cop that stops them, rather than a tree, another car or a small child," stated AAIM Board Vice-President Marti Belluschi. keep it up and their wont be to many people left to drive and they will all end up on welfare like many of them do or they are already on it cause they just cant learn. so we all will end up taking care of alot of dui offenders cause of being broke   more ›
