Naperville Man Suing Lifetime Fitness Over Alleged Sexual Abuse By Trainer

A 22-year-old Naperville man who was allegedly sexually abused by a Warrenville Lifetime Fitness trainer is now suing the club, CBS reports.

Former Trainer Pleads Not Guilty to Sexually Abusing Teen Client

Robert Theodore pleads not guilty in DuPage County to charges he sexually abused a 16-year-old boy in a hot tub in Warrenville, the Daily Herald reports.

A former fitness trainer charged pleaded not guilty Monday to charges he sexually abused a boy in a hot tub at a Warrenville fitness center, the Daily Herald reports. Robert Theodore, 60, of Woodridge was charged last month with three counts of aggravated sexual abuse, Class 2 felonies, according to DuPage County State’s Attorney Robert Berlin. If Theodore is found guilty he faces up to seven years in prison. Theodore had inappropriate sexual contact with the Naperville minor, then 16, on a number of occasions, according to a news release from Berlin’s office. The abuse allegedly took place at Theodore’s home, the boy’s home and at a local gym where he would train the boy, according to the release. Theodore worked at Life Time Fitness in …

Bond Set at $250,000 for Trainer Accused of Sexually Abusing Athletes

The Woodridge man works as a track and triathlon trainer at Life Time Fitness in Warrenville and has been released on conditions that he wear a GPS monitor and have no contact with anyone under the age of 18.

DuPage County State’s Attorney Robert B. Berlin announced Wednesday that bond has been set for a Woodridge man accused of having inappropriate sexual contact with a male minor whom he had been training in track and field. Robert Theodore, 60, of 3809 Hagen Court, Woodridge, appeared in Bond Court Wednesday morning where Judge Elizabeth Sexton set bond at $250,000 with 10 percent to apply. Get news in your inbox.
