Tollway's New Webcams Show Road Conditions

The cameras let you view road congestion -- or lack thereof -- before you walk out the door for your commute.

The Illinois Tollway has looped 15 traffic feeds into its Web site so you can see conditions on the main arteries around Chicago before you get on the road. According to the Illinois Tollway Web site, feeds from 15 traffic camera locations, including two on Veterans Memorial Tollway (I-355), are now accessible to the public through the Tollway's homepage.   A bird's eye view of traffic conditions features three feeds on the Jane Addams Memorial Tollway (I-90), eight on the Tri-State Tollway (I-94/I-294), and two on the Reagan Memorial Tollway (I-88).
