UPDATED: Motorcyclist Dead After Halloween Crash
Salvatore J. Cacciato, of Lisle, was pronounced deceased following an accident with another motor vehicle attempting to leave the BenU parking lot.
UPDATED: Nov. 9, 2011, 12:17 p.m. Lisle Police Department Watch Cmdr. Randall Johnson said officers are still investigating the Oct. 31 crash, and no new information is available. To his knowledge, no charges have been filed. The driver of the vehicle was likely a Benedictine student, according to a report from The Candor, the college's student newspaper. An eyewitness said Cacciato was not wearing a helmet.
