Lisle Junior High Closes Out Football Season

The Lions end the 2010 season with a 2-4 record.

from Pete Meyer, Lisle Junior High School The 2010 Lisle Junior High football team had a roller coaster season, but there was tremendous improvement throughout the year that ended with a 2-4 record.  The first game was against Eisenhower and the Lions fell by the lopsided score of 27-0.  The following week the Lisle gridiron warriors traveled to Gower.  This was a great game by both teams in which Lisle prevailed 13-0.  The Lions won their next game against Cass in a thriller 22-20.  The final three contests did not turn out as well the previous two.  The Lions were defeated 30-6 by Burr Ridge and Lakeview toppled the Lions by a score of 44-6.  The final game of the year was a rematch with Eisenhower.  This game went down to the final play…
