Naperville Patch welcomes letters to the editor. Letters may be submitted to Local Editor Collin Czarnecki at collin.czarnecki@patch.com.
Open Letter to the Community, On the day Spring Break finally arrives for our schools, whether we are waiting for a winter storm to blow in or are escaping to warmer climates, the feeling of being lifted out of the weightier days of winter is everywhere. My sincere hope for our families is that they will find time together enjoying one another’s company and making memories that will stay with them, even as the years pass. When the students return, we know they will be invigorated and ready to make that final push to the end of the school year. This is the wonderful thing about spring. It is filled will new energy and ideas about all the great things that can still be accomplished, even in a short amount of time. Our teachers know that …

He has earned it! He is a younger man who has made his mark during his two terms as Congressman. That's why I like Peter Roskam. It is vitally important that he be reelected to the office of United States Congressman. John Oldenburger Wheaton, Illinois

Wheaton Patch accepts and publishes letters to the editor emailed to Local Editor Charlotte Eriksen at Charlotte@patch.com, or sent as a message through the Wheaton Patch Facebook page. Please note in subject lines the message is a Letter to the Editor. ------------ I was pleased to see that Peter Roskam was endorsed by both the Daily Herald and the Chicago Tribune to be our representative here in the Sixth Congressional District. Both note that Roskam can help solve the economic issues of the day and will be an influential voice at the table for our district by, for one thing, focusing on rewriting our cumbersome federal tax code. I hope that you’ll join these endorsements by voting for Peter Roskam on November 6th. Let’s send a man of …

Lisle Patch accepts and publishes letters to the editor emailed to lisle@patch.com. Please note in subject lines the message is a Letter to the Editor. --------- Dear Editor, As a graduate student with friends out of work, I hear gloomy reports every day about our stagnant 8% unemployment rate, and the crucial need for jobs and economic growth. I recently learned that Peter Roskam, a Congressman running for reelection in the Sixth Congressional District, has been instrumental in passing several free trade agreements that have and will continue to help businesses here and across the country. Peter Roskam has traveled to three countries in support of pro-export free trade agreements with South Korea, Panama and Columbia, and played a …

Wheaton Patch accepts and publishes letters to the editor emailed to Local Editor Charlotte Eriksen at Charlotte@patch.com, or sent as a message through the Wheaton Patch Facebook page. Please note in subject lines the message is a Letter to the Editor. Letter to the Editor, Leslie Coolidge, the Democratic candidate for Congress, is running against Peter Roskam, one of the truly gifted Republican candidates; he’s gifted with Republican money, with a social focus so narrow one could call it laser-like, with insight into women’s lives that allows him to justify controlling women’s choices, and with a sense of political responsibility that allows him to focus solely on attacking Obama to the exclusion (and detriment) of constituent needs. …

Palatine Patch welcomes letters to the editor. Letters may be submitted to the local editor via email.
To the Editor: The great American job creation machine is stalled. The headline 8.1 percent unemployment rate, which is “adjusted”, understates the un-adjusted 15 percent U6 unemployment rate. To get Americans working again, we need to send people like Peter Roskam to Washington. He understands that over-regulation by the Federal government is restraining job growth. Peter Roskam voted for the Red Tape Reduction Act, to help small businesses reduce burdensome regulatory compliance. He is an influential member of the House Ways and Means Committee, responsible for tax reform to help small and large companies become more globally competitive. He knows business owners like me are hesitant to hire when the Federal Government is constantly …

You can also submit it via a Facebook message to the Wheaton Patch Facebook page. Recently I had an enlightening visit with Leslie Coolidge, our Democratic Congressional candidate in the 6th District. Leslie spelled out her goals for serving in Congress. She explained how she would propose to cut Medicare costs and improve the image of the U.S. in the world. Her view is that the U.S. is still the only superpower, and with focused leadership, there is no reason we cannot have a very bright future. Investing in our infrastructure is very important to Leslie. A green economy can provide new jobs…

Glen Ellyn Patch welcomes letters to the editor. Letters may be submitted to Local editor Mary Ann Lopez at maryl@patch.com.
Peter Roskam for the 6th District I am eager to elect men and women to Congress that truly want to represent their constituents. Congressman Peter Roskam has been doing just that, fighting to create jobs and put a stop to excessive regulations that are hurting small businesses right here in Illinois. He supports the Red Tape Reduction Act, which would bring relief to businesses here in Illinois that are swamped with burdensome and sometimes unnecessary regulations. As a lifelong Illinoisan, Peter has been working hard for the residents of the 6th district in the fight for commonsense economic policies here and across the country. Peter Roskam’s deep Illinois roots have prepared him to fight for your values this upcoming term. I encourage…
