A winter storm is expected to blow its way into Lisle late Wednesday bringing with it the winter weather we have avoided so far this winter. The storm is expected to start with rain, which will intensify as it makes its way into the area, turning into snow late Wednesady night, according to the National Weather Service. Snow accumulation is also expected Thursday in the Chicago area. While it’s still uncertain how much snow will blanket the area, the National Weather Service is predicting winds will become strong Thursday afternoon into the evening, with gusts of about 45-50 mph expected.
