Lisle Hotels Plan Renovations For 2011

The local Hyatt, Wyndham and Hilton hotels prepare to complete multiple upgrades.

On New Year's Eve residents of Lisle will exclaim the adage, "Out with the old and in with the new!" Hotels in Lisle will wait 'til after New Year's Eve, but intend to do the same. The Hyatt, Wyndham and Hilton hotels all plan to complete major renovations in 2011. The Hyatt Lisle will undergo an $8 million transformation, said director of sales Robin Friday. This renovation includes leveling off the lobby and updating the guest rooms. "All the rooms will have a fresh look," Friday said. "We don't have flat screen TVs in our rooms, so those will be added. All rooms will get new bathrooms, too." Friday said the guest room renovations will begin at the end of January. The updates will be completed sometime between June and August. …

Evviva Releases Details of "Give Back" Night

Westchester Man Arrested for Public Intoxication and Criminal Trespass

Here's an item from the Village of Lisle Police Department on Oct. 4.

Lisle police arrested Bryan J. Seroka, 27, of 1406 Haase Ave., Westchester, for criminal trespass, disorderly conduct and public intoxication. He was arrested at approximately 2 a.m. on Oct. 3 at the Hyatt Lisle and released on I-Bond.
