Seventeen-year-old Amber Adams of Park City was identified as the fatality of a three-car accident on I-355 Saturday morning, according to a report from Chicago Tribune. Read their account of the accident. Illinois State Police told Patch on Saturday that two other individuals were injured in the accident. The Woodridge teen driving the vehicle was cited for improper lane usage, according to the Chicago Tribune's report.
Illinois State Police have not released the identity of the victim.
One individual is dead following a three-car crash on northbound I-355 on Saturday near the border of Lisle and Downers Grove. A spokesman with the Illinois State Police said that the crash occurred at approximately 11:30 a.m. near the on-ramp to I-88. Officials could not specify whether the fatality was a driver or passenger; they have not released the identity of the victim pending notification of the family. Two other individuals involved in the crash were transported to nearby hospitals, the spokesman said. An investigation is ongoing. Police are not releasing additional details at this time.
