Police: Man Hired Undercover Cop to Harm Executor
Police say Ladislav C. Fromelius, of Naperville, paid $1,000 for an attack.
Lisle police arrested a Naperville man accused of trying to hire someone to attack an estate executor. Ladislav C. Fromelius, 71, 1519 Watkins Lane, No. 105, Naperville, was arrested Sept. 21 after a two-month investigation during which he tried to hire an undercover Lisle police officer to harm the executor of an estate to which he was a beneficiary, police said. The undercover police officer was paid $1,000 with the understanding that Fromelius would pay him an additional $1,000 after the attack, according to police. Fromelius is charged with solicitation to commit armed violence, a Class 1 Felony; solicitation to commit aggravated battery, a Class A misdemeanor; and solicitation to commit intimidation, a Class A misdemeanor.
