Park City Teen Identified as I-355 Fatality

Seventeen-year-old Amber Elizabeth Adams was declared dead on the scene of a three-car accident on I-355 near the I-88 on-ramp, according to a report from Chicago Tribune.

The Woodridge teen driving the vehicle was cited for improper lane usage, according to the Chicago Tribune's report.

Three-Car Accident on I-355 Leaves One Dead

Illinois State Police have not released the identity of the victim.

One individual is dead following a three-car crash on northbound I-355 on Saturday near the border of Lisle and Downers Grove. A spokesman with the Illinois State Police said that the crash occurred at approximately 11:30 a.m. near the on-ramp to I-88. Officials could not specify whether the fatality was a driver or passenger; they have not released the identity of the victim pending notification of the family. Two other individuals involved in the crash were transported to nearby hospitals, the spokesman said. An investigation is ongoing. Police are not releasing additional details at this time. Maple Avenue Traffic Slow After Two-Car Collision

No one appeared to be hurt following a two-car crash Thursday afternoon.

If you're planning on making a stop at Starbucks or Walgreen's this afternoon, beware. Shortly after 3 p.m. on Thursday two cars were involved in a collision on Maple Avenue just east of Route 53. Lisle Police were directing traffic through 4 p.m. with westbound lanes closed. No one appeared to be injured. This story will be updated as more information is available.
