Village Board Reviews Resident Complaint, Waste Plan
Here are some items from the village board meetings of Sept. 13 and 27.
The Village Board of Trustees reviewed a customer complaint and several zoning changes at it Monday, Sept. 27 meeting. A resident of Winchester Avenue disputed a $1,200 water bill after the Public Works Department found a "discrepancy between the inside and outside water meters." Finance director Kim Schiller said employees inspected the house on Winchester when a family moved to the home in 2005. Village employees reset the meters. During a check in February of this year, employees discovered a discrepancy and the residents were charged for unpaid usage. The household continues to dispute the charges and the matter will be addressed at the Oct. 4 meeting. Representatives of the Banner Apartments at 3060 and 3080 Ogden Ave. brought a …
