The Village of Lisle is governed by a mayor, board of trustees and village clerk. These officials are responsible for…More Lisle's fiscal responsibilities, city services and record-keeping. Village meetings are conducted twice a month under the leadership of Mayor Joe Broda, who has headed the village since 2001.
Broda issues an annual State of the Village Address each January. He also participates in Coffee with the Mayor, an informal meeting where residents and business owners can ask questions, address concerns and discuss current village issues. These meetings take place from 9 to 10am on the first Tuesday of each month.

The township's highway department covers all major roads from Washington Street to Woodward Avenue east-west, and East-West toll way to 87th Street north-south. It issues traffic tickets and violations, and performs brush pickup, roadside mowing, street sweeping, tree maintenance, road repair and road sign repair. Office hours are Mon - Fri, 7am - 3pm.

The Public Works department oversees all village water and sewage, performs brush and leaf pickup, and general maintenance on streets and streetlights. (It even handles dead-animal removal.) Administrative offices are open Mon - Fri, 7:30am - 4pm. Operations run Mon - Fri, 7am - 3:30pm. Service calls are performed based on the severity of the issue.
Planning and Zoning Commission
The Community Development staff assists planning and zoning, offering residents information regarding zoning, allowable construction, permits and the Village Zoning Ordinance.
The Facilities Management department repairs as well as completes minor construction projects on village structures and surrounding landscaping.
