Lisle Park District Community Park

<p>The Lisle Park District oversees the village's 40+ parks, covering 380 acres of land. It boasts 29 playgrounds, 23 tennis courts, eight basketball courts, seven soccer fields, three picnic shelters, a golf course, fishing ponds, sled hills and an outdoor skating rink. These parks are linked by residential streets and a web of walking trails. Pets are allowed in parks; however, they are not allowed on tennis courts.</p>
<p>The Community Center holds a fitness center, and Sea Lion Aquatic Park is open during summer months.</p> <p>The Park Board meets the third Thursday of each month at 7pm in the Community Center. Board members include president, Donald Cook, treasurer, Janis Kanzler and commissioners, Tony Carballo, Margaret Hough and Debra Morse.</p>

  • Hours: Parks are open daily until 10pm. Community Center is open Mon. - Wed., 8:30am - 5pm; Thu., 8:30 - 7pm; Fri., 8:30 - 5pm; and Sat., 9am - 12pm.
