Job Search & Resources Workshop for Veterans in DuPage County

The workNet DuPage Career Center is hosting a Job Search & Resources Workshop for veterans in the DuPage County area, to be held this Thursday, June 5, starting at 9:00 a.m.

The job search workshop will discuss transitioning from the military to the civilian world, a brief overview of job search strategies, and resources for job search preparation and self-assessment.

Representatives from various agencies will also be on hand to discuss the services they offer to veterans, including the DuPage County Veterans Assistance Commission, the Illinois Department of Employment Security, the Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs, and Hope for Tomorrow, Inc.

DuPage County veterans are invited to attend this free event.  The workshop begins at 9:00 a.m. and will last about two hours.  The workNet DuPage Career Center is located at 2525 Cabot Drive, Suite 302 in Lisle, IL.  Veterans may learn more about resources available to them at http://www.worknetdupage.org/job-seekers/veterans.php
