LSHS Students Helped Arboretum 'Tag' Chicago Trees

Five students assisted the Morton Arboretum with its Arbor Day project.

LSHS students Anne Begley, Kellie Brennan, Connor Corrigan, Maggie Corrigan and Melanie Early assisted Morton Arboretum staff and other volunteers in tagging 400 trees around Chicago's West Loop neighborhood last month in honor of Arbor Day.

According to the Chicago Tribune, the tags represented the trees's environmental benefits in a 15-year span.
