Lisle Community Band Summer Concerts Continue

The Lisle Community Band continues its 26th summer concert season with a concert Thursday, July 12 at 7:30 p.m.

Featured will be music from the operas "The Marriage of Figaro" and "Carmen," "Buglers Holiday," and medleys of American Jazz and The Jersey Boys.  

All Lisle Community Band concerts are held at the stage next to the Lisle Park District offices, at 1825 Short St. Admission is free. Bring lawn chairs or blankets. Refreshments will be for sale.

  • Thursday, July 19: finale from "The New World Symphony," American and Spanish folk music, music of Michael Buble and Benny Goodman
  • Thursday, July 26: "Marche Militaire Francaise" by Saint-Saens, "Songs Of George Gershwin" featuring a special guest vocalist,  tribute to Rodgers and Hammerstein and a Blues Brothers Revue
  • Thursday, August 2: Lisle Community Jazz Band featuring director George Dzuricsko, Director play "Music of the Big Bands"
