Eyes to the Skies 2013 Schedule of Events & Music

The enormous Lisle festival begins on Wednesday and runs through Sunday with fireworks on three consecutive nights. Find dates, times and performers here.

Lisle's 2013 Eyes to the Skies festival and carnival begins on Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. and runs through Sunday night at 7:00 p.m., featuring the annual festive cornucopia of hot-air balloons, fireworks, live music, carnival rides, a parade and much more. The festival operators expect more than 150,000 people to attend.

Admission is $5, free for children age 5 and under. Lisle residents can get in free on Thursday before 3:00 p.m., and military members and veterans are free any time on Thursday. (Valid photo ID required.)

  • 7:00 p.m. - Gina Glockson Band (rock and roll featuring the 9th place finalist of the 6th season of American Idol.)
  • 9:00 p.m. - Pat Travers (melodic rock and blues with a catalogue reaching back to 1976.)

Riverview

  • 5:30 p.m. - This End Up
  • 7:00 p.m. - VVX
  • 9:00 p.m. - Trippin Billies

July 4

Mainstage

  • 7:00 p.m. - Infinity (classic rock cover band featuring the hits of Boston, Queen, Bon Jovi, and more, especially Journey.)
  • 9:00 p.m. - American English (well-known Chicagoland Beatles tribute band, including both the sound and the look.)

Riverview

  • 1:00 p.m. - OMT (One More Time)
  • 3:30 p.m. - Cool Rockin' Daddies
  • 6:00 p.m. - 97 Nine
  • 8:30 p.m. - Kashmir

July 5

  • 7:00 p.m. - Semple (the new band of Irish pop-rocker Keith Semple, formerly of Chicagoland group 7th Heaven.)
  • 9:00 p.m. - Ambrosia (multiple Grammy-nominated prog-rock band with 3 of original 4 members from 1970.)

  • 3:00 p.m. - Voo Davis
  • 4:30 p.m. - Chicago Tribute Anthology
  • 6:45 p.m. - Bad Medicine
  • 8:45 p.m. - Arrival (ARRA)

July 6

  • 12:30 p.m. - Rock Academy (music school for students of all ages.)
  • 2:00 p.m. - Dead Yet Alive (70's style rock and runner-up in the "Best of the Midwest" contest.)
  • 5:30 p.m. - Chicago 6 (rock band featuring three members of the 1985 Chicago Bears no. 1-ranked defense.)
  • 7:00 p.m. - POCO (country-rock pioneers founded in 1968 by former bandmates of Neil Young.)
  • 9:00 p.m. - Pure Prairie League (country-rock founded in the late 1960s with mainstream appeal in the 1970s.)
