Advance Carnival Tickets Available for Eyes to the Skies Balloon Festival

More than 150,000 people are expected to attend the 30th Annual Eyes to the Skies Balloon Festival June 29-July 1. The festival includes a carnival which will run June 27-July 1.

Mega Passes for the carnival are now on sale and can be purchased in advance for $45 each ($50 at the gate). Special Mega Passes will be sold at the Lisle Savings Bank locations on and , and .  These passes will allow one individual all they can ride for 5 days of the carnival. Vouchers will be given and can be redeemed for wristbands at the main ticket booth on the carnival site any time the carnival is open. Mega Pass may also be purchased online on the festival website.

Eyes to the Skies advanced admission tickets, which are $5, can now be purchased at your local Lisle, Woodridge, Bolingbrook, Downers Grove, Naperville and Wheaton Danada .

What to expect from this year's festival

Carnival
The carnival is provided by Wilson Family Show. The carnival opens Wednesday, June 27 at 5 p.m. Visitors attending on wristband days, June 27 and 28, can expect unlimited rides for $20.


Great Music
The Eyes to the Skies Festival is known for its nationally known musical entertainers and this year is no exception. Headlining the Main Stage on June 29 are blues and soul singers Pat Smillie Band and Mitch Ryder & The Detroit Wheels. On Saturday, June 30, a rock-pop band from Chicago, The Fold, opens for Daryl Stuermer of the super-group Genesis. On Sunday, July 1, the classic rock band Aarra opening for Think Floyd USA– considered by many to be the ultimate Pink Floyd tribute.

Top local bands perform on the Cabaret Stage featuring Sixteen Candles, Seventh Heaven and Wedding Banned will help celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Eyes to the Skies.

Hot Air Balloons
More than 15 are expected to sail over Lisle and the surrounding suburbs at 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. each day. Nightly Balloon Glows will show off the balloons’ colors each night at 8:30 p.m. An annual tradition will continue with the appearance of Serena’s Song, the world’s only handicapped accessible balloon. Handicapped children will be offered free tethered rides on Serena’s Song through the area’s SEASPAR programs.

Craft Fair, Food and Fireworks
The popular craft fair featuring all types of handcrafted items will return along both sides of Short Street and of course there is a food court featuring a wide variety of food from more than a dozen vendors. Capping off the festival will be three nights of fireworks launched north of the hot air balloon field starting approximately 9:45 pm. The finale, July 1 will be spectacular and choreographed to music.

Children’s Area
Look for the special children’s where you will find lots of fun activities for kids such as games, art projects, dance and martial arts demonstrations, lumberjack shows and more.
