GOAL! Naperville North Girls Soccer State 3A Champions

With 42 seconds remaining in the fourth overtime period, the Naperville North Huskies scored the winning goal in the IHSA state soccer championships.

The Girls Socer team won the IHSA Class 3A Soccer Championship with seconds remaining in the fourth overtime period Saturday night.

The Huskies took on St. Charles (North) North Stars at North Central College's Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium. The game went into four overtime periods before the Huskies scored a goal with 42 seconds remaining in the period. Christa Szalach, #14, scored the winning goal.

The Huskies season record was 24 wins, 1 loss and 2 ties.
