Who Were This Summer's Outstanding Youth Readers?

One 6-year-old completed 279 books this summer! How did other top Lisle Library participants fare this year?

Introducing our first set of Whiz Kids for the school year!

Throughout the summer Patch kept you updated on how many residents were involved in the 's summer reading program. Kid and teen participants devoured more than 16,000 books over the course of just a few months—that comes out to nearly 13 books per child!

If that makes you feel like a lazy reader, check out the real go-getters. The following students completed at least 50 books each. They are the summer's top readers, based on information provided by the library.
