St. Joan of Arc Students Commemorating Sept. 11 Anniversary With Day of Peace

Students will perform acts of kindness and cap off the day by forming a live peace sign.

This Friday the students at St. Joan of Arc School will commemorate the 10th anniversary of Sept. 11, 2001 with a day of peace—specifically, "Peace Day."

According to a statement from the school, "With the prevalence of violence and our great nation at war, St. Joan of Arc students, along with the administration and faculty, believe that we can have a peaceful world if each individual does their own part."

Students will begin the morning with an all-school mass, and cap off the day with a flag dedication ceremony where the school's 600 students will form a live peace symbol with linked hands.
