The Wyndham Lisle was buzzing on Tuesday night with the presence of some of Lisle Senior High School’s elite athletes.
Three sport athletes, all-conference award winners, state qualifiers, state champions, winners of Academic Excellence and scholarship award winners were all invited to enjoy in the Sports Awards Banquet on May 24.
Some notable award winners were Piccolo Scholarship recipient, Grant Fitzgerald, and Zahara Scholarship winner, Nicole Urban. Lisle Athletic Booster Club Scholarship winners included Stephanie Petkovsek, Stephanie Loconsole, Nicole Urban, Grant Fitzgerald, Tim Saul and Chris Wray.

The State Champion Lisle boys soccer team was awarded with plaques by Athletic Director, Dan Dillard. Exceptional parent volunteer, Marilyn Buchholz, was also honored during the night’s festivities.
Dillard announced that this years award banquet had the greatest number of invitees in recent memory. Such a crowd was an excellent indication of the exceptional year in Lisle High School Athletics.
