Lisle Junior High and Schiesher Receive Academic Excellence Awards

This is the fourth year the school has received the award, according to a release from the district website.

Both Schiesher and Lisle Junior High School have earned the State of Illinois Academic Excellence Award for the second consecutive year.  

This recognition was earned by having at least 90 percent of the students meeting or exceeding state standards in both reading and mathematics for at least 3 consecutive years.

Lisle Junior High principal Tim Pociask points out that the school has now exceeded this standard for four years in a row.  

“I am very proud of our staff and our students," he said.
