Divorce Care

DivorceCare is a weekly seminar that includes video, discussion and support for people who are separated or divorced.  The program is led by facilitators who have experienced divorce themselves.

What Can You Expect at DivorceCare?

  1. The meeting opens with participants sharing about their week and any events that occurred since the last meeting.  This is a relaxed fellowship time and no one will put you on the spot or expect you to share.  Of course you are welcome to share when you feel ready.
  2. Next, we watch a 40-minute video and take notes in the workbook.
  3. After the video the facilitator will guide a discussion about the video.  The session ends with participants sharing any prayer requests they may have and a facilitator praying.
  4. There is about 15 minutes of homework per day to do during the week between meetings.

Our experience is that most participants can't wait for their meeting day because the support and fellowship is so valuable to them.  So if you are going through the trauma of separation or divorce, please join us.  You'll be glad you did.
