9th Annual Spring Into Safety 2012

What: This season marks the 9th year of the Spring Into Safety program. Spring Into Safety is a one night program that educates families on keeping children safer from abduction and exploitation. With a heightened awareness of the realities of online predators, human trafficking and child exploitation, it is a valuable program offered for FREE each year to Lisle and surrounding communities. Families, caregivers, elementary through high school students, scout troops, clubs and community leaders come together to learn through multimedia presentations, stories and agency resources how to be safer in and outside of our community.

5:30pm - 7:30pm: Resource Tables Including Dignity Memorial, Free fingerprinting kits from Farmers Insurance, The Shawn Hornbeck Foundation - Kidz Cardz (digital imaging ID cards), and the DuPage County Sheriff Department.

6:30pm Escape School (1hr): Created by retired police officer Bob Stuber and sponsored by Dignity Memorial, this program teaches personal safety skills to children. It is empowering and presented with sensitivity. Recommended for ages 4 and up and a parent/guardian. For more information, visit: www.escapeschool.com
