Village Board Briefs: New Police Vehicles

The trustees also approved budget drafts for a March public forum.

The village board of trustees approved the following items at Monday's regular meeting:

  • The scheduled replacement of four police vehicles. The department will purchase a Ford Crown Victoria and three Chevy Tahoes for a combined price of $99,764.80. (The memo indicates the department will be reducing their fleet by an additional three cars.) The department will also receive seven new tasers for $9,701.35.
  • The second draft of the revised 2010/2011 and proposed 2011/2012 budgets will be presented for public hearing at the Lisle Library on March 7 at 7 p.m.
  • Changes to the fire code ordinance for
  • A special use permit for a new hair salon at 4711 Main St.

 

A presentation for a liquor license at 2950 Ogden Ave. was postponed for a future agenda.
