Meeting Agendas: Week of June 6

The village board of trustees, and economic development and technology commissions convene this week.

The village posted the agenda and packet for Monday night's board of trustees regular meeting. Items include:

  • final approval of an agreement with Allied Waste Services for the collection of refuse, recyclables and yard waste; sidewalk work with James. J Benes and Associates; purchase order for tree trimming services; purchase order with ABBA Logic for video surveillance services for the village hall and police station; building code ordinance at 2601 and 2701 Navistar Dr.;
  • resolution recognizing closed session meeting minutes from Jan. 17 through Mar. 21 are no longer confidential
  • two special event permits, including the Fourth of July parade
  • an agreement with the Four Lakes Homeowners Association to repair a bridge on Four Lakes Drive
  • rejection of bids for 2011 large water meter testing and repair
  • an amendment allowing the village board and staff to reschedule any regular meetings which fall on a public holiday at their discretion, with at least 48 hours’ notice posted at village hall and given to registered news media

The meeting begins at 7 p.m. in the village hall board room.

The Economic Development Commission will meet on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. in the village hall conference room. According to the agenda, they’ll be reviewing a restaurant grant application.
