Dillard Welcomes Giant Steps Officials to Statehouse
Sen. Kirk Dillard was the sponsor of a law that facilitated the creation of the Giant Steps school.

State Sen. Kirk Dillard (R-Hinsdale) welcomed to the Illinois Statehouse representatives from , a school and treatment center in Lisle established serve individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD).
Sen. Dillard sponsored the law that facilitated the creation of the school, which has become a national model for the treatment of individuals afflicted with ASD. Giant Steps offers educational, therapeutic and recreational programs for elementary, junior high and high school students with ASD, their families and the community.
