Attorney General Examining Open Meeting Complaint Against DuPage County Forest Preserve District

A Forest Preserve District candidate lodged the complaint.

 

The Illinois Attorney General's office is looking into allegations of Open Meetings Act violations by members of the DuPage County Forest Preserve District, according to a report from Naperville Sun.

The request for review was filed by Lisle resident Steve Leopoldo, who is vying for a DuPage County Forest Preserve District seat.

Potential Open Meetings Act violations are examined by the Attorney General's Public Access office. The Open Meetings Act gives the public access office 60 days to process the request and make a determination (or a maximum of 81 days if more information is requested).
