Be on the lookout for a man and a little boy involved in a scam in the Lisle area, the DuPage Sheriff's Office said Tuesday.
At about noon Tuesday an elderly woman's purse was stolen in the area of Route 53 and Maple Avenue in unincorporated Lisle, a Sheriff's Office press release said.
The woman was approached by a man about 45 years old and a boy who was about 10 years old. The man started asking the woman questions as a distraction, as the younger suspect went into the garage and stole her purse, police said.
The suspect was driving a white sedan and left in an unknown direction.
