ELMHURST, Aug. 13—A man walked onto the front porch of a home on the 600 block of South Mitchell, looked in the front window and took a plastic flowerpot off the center pillar of the porch at 2:54 a.m. The homeowner told police that he saw the suspect on video from the security camera that monitors his front porch. The flowerpot was located near the neighbor's house.

LA GRANGE, Aug. 13—A man was reported pleasuring himself in a black sport-utility vehicle parked on the 0-100 block of LaGrange Road at about 1:22 p.m. Police said the vehicle was empty when they arrived. They watched the vehicle for a while but said they were unable to find the man.

Driver Distractions Come in All Shapes, Sizes

LA GRANGE, Aug. 12—A group of youths were reported going into traffic at LaGrange Road and Hillgrove Avenue at about 5:42 p.m., with a couple of them mooning passers-by.

DOWNERS GROVE, Aug. 10—A woman was stopped in traffic at 5:11 p.m., westbound  Butterfield Road, waiting to get on the southbound ramp for I-355, when she noticed that the man in the car next to her was masturbating. She called police on her cell phone, but the man heard her giving a description of his car to the police. He completed a U-turn, going eastbound on Butterfield Road. Police couldn't find the car.

Hospital Gown for Labor Day?

GENEVA, Aug. 10—Sombody took a 25-inch-tall concrete goose from a front yard of a home in the 100 block of North Bridgeport Lane between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. Police reported that the goose was wearing a Fourth of July dress.
