Police Seeking Ex-Husband as Person of Interest in Apparent Glen Ellyn Homicide

Investigators believe ex-husband was last to see Nancy Bustos alive.

Glen Ellyn police are looking for Juan M. Granados to question him about the death of his former wife, Nancy Bustos, 36, who was found dead inside her apartment at 19 Briar St. in Glen Ellyn.

The police said they believe he was the last person to see her alive, according to a statement from Glen Ellyn police. He was last seen driving a black, 1992 BMW, 325i with four doors and Illinois license plate L655003.

Investigators said that Bustos was living in the apartment with Granados and their two children. Both children are safe and with family, police said.

Family members had not seen or heard from Bustos and called the . Police went to her apartment and found her body around 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 16.

Police said Granados was last seen driving the car during the evening of Saturday, Oct. 15 in a suburb west of Glen Ellyn. Police believe he may be driving to Mexico.
