Police Reports: Driving Under the Influence

Here are three items from the Village of Lisle Police Department on July 20.

Timothy A. Shodipo, 21, of Montgomery, was arrested at the intersection of Route 53 and Southport Avenue on July 16 at approximately 8:28 p.m. After being stopped for a speeding violation, police charged him with unlawful possession of cannabis.**

His passenger, Ryan M. Broyles, 24, of Naperville, was also charged with unlawful possession of cannabis. Both posted bond and were released pending court hearings.

Jeffrey J. McGrath, 26, of 2200 Cherry Lane, was arrested on July 17 at 2:57 a.m. at the intersection of Warrenville Road and Route 53. According to reports, a motorist alerted police of a possible impaired driver. McGrath was stopped for improper lane usage. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and issued a citation for operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
He was released on bond pending court hearing.

Chloe J. Chinchilla, 19, of Naperville, was arrested on July 17 at 4:57 a.m.
According to police reports, Chinchilla had been involved in a motor vehicle accident at Route 53 and Maple Avenue. After failing a field sobriety test she was charged with driving under the influence and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
She was released on bond.
