Person of Interest Sought in Apparent Glen Ellyn Homicide

Police are searching for a person of interest after a 36-year-old Glen Ellyn woman was found dead inside her apartment around 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 16.   

Family members had not seen or heard from her since Friday and called the . Police then went to her apartment at 19 Briar Street in Glen Ellyn and found her body. Officers are not releasing her identity at this time.

According to a statement from the Glen Ellyn Police Department, the woman was believed to be living with her ex-husband.

Police are looking for a person of interest, Juan M. Granados, and officers believe he was the last person to see her alive.

Granados was last seen driving a black, 1992 BMW, 325i with four-doors and Illinois license plate L655003. Granados may be driving to Mexico, according to the statement.
