Naperville Woman Charged With Aggravated DUI

Sandra F. Funston, 42, of Naperville, was arrested on the 4400 block of Shabbona Lane on June 9 at approximately 8:53 p.m.

According to police reports, officers were investigating a distrubance call when Funston arrived at the scene. Police discovered she was driving on a suspended driver's license, and officers administered a field sobriety test "due to concerns regarding her ability to operate the vehicle safely."

She is charged with three felony counts and one misdemeanor count of aggravated driving under the influence, one count of unlawfull possession of a controlled substance and driving while license suspended. Funston was transferred to the DuPage County Jail to await bond hearing.
