Man Charged With Drug, Alcohol Possession in Darien

Here's an item from the Darien Police Department blotter on May 23.

Phillip P. Cooper, Jr., 18, of the 500 block of Maple Avenue, was arrested around 1:20 a.m. on the 6700 block of Alabama, Darien police said. Police smelled marijuana coming from Cooper’s car, and when they searched it they found both marijuana and a case of beer, according to the report. Cooper was charged with cannabis possession and possession of alcohol by a minor, police said.
