Juveniles Caught With Stolen Cold Medicine

Here's an item from the Village of Lisle Police Department blotter on May 26.

An unidentified number of suspects, mostly juveniles, were placed into custody Tuesday evening after stealing cold medicine.

Police responded to a report of retail theft from Walgreen's, 1010 Maple Ave, at approximately 5 p.m. They located the suspects in a nearby neighborhood based on a description from witnesses, and discovered three bottles of over the counter cold medicine.

Lee Duncan, 18, of the 4600 block of Main Street, was charged with one count of retail theft and released with a June court date. Underage suspects were released into parents' custody and not charged.
