DuPage Co. Man Faces Federal Charges in Mortgage Scheme

A 36-year-old DuPage County man and 40-year-old Chicago woman face federal charges after police said they jacked up prices for apartments they sold on the south side of Chicago and then gave a kick back and "submitting fraudulent mortgage documents" in order to secure federal loans, according to the Daily Herald. 

George Dravilas, of unincorporated DuPage County, and Bridget Hutcherson, of Chicago, were arrested Tuesday and now face federal mortgage fraud charges, according to the article.
