Blotter: Illegal Consumption by a Minor, Man Hits Parked Cars

Driving under the influence

  • An 18-year-old from the 2400 block of Old Tavern Road was charged with driving under the influence on Oct. 10 at 12:35 a.m. at the intersection of Front Street and Kingston Avenue. The man disabled his vehicle after striking a curb, according to reports. He is also charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor, improper lane usage, and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
  • Alberto Garcia-Rodriguez, 22, of the 4700 block of St. Joseph Creek Road, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol on Oct. 13 at 1:16 a.m. on the same block as his residence. According to police, Garcia-Rodriguez struck three parked vehicles in a nearby parking lot. He was also charged with not having a valid driver's license, operation of an uninsured motor vehicle, and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

Invalid driver's license
Svetiana Kutsiyan, 40, of the 800 block of McKenzie Station Drive, was charged with driving without a valid driver's license on Oct. 12 at 8 a.m. on the 1000 block of Burlington Avenue.

Warrant for arrest

  • John Robert Beale, 66, of the 4700 block of St. Joseph Creek Road, was arrested at 9:40 a.m. on Oct. 14 at the Naperville Police Department, 1350 Aurora Avenue, where he was charged with an original warrant for disorderly conduct, police said.
  • Jacob B. Soto, 20, of the 4400 block of Shabbona Lane, Lisle, was arrested at the on Oct. 14 at 2:40 p.m., police said. He was charged on an original warrant for two counts of receiving illegal goods. His bond was $300.
