Driving under the influence of alcohol
Thomas Y. Hatekayama, 23, of Schaumburg, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol on Feb. 23 at approximately 1:10 a.m., according to Lisle Police reports. Hatekayama was pulled over for driving 58 miles per hour in a 40 mile per hour zone. He was charged after failing field sobriety tests, and was processed at the Lisle Police Department.
Burglary from motor vehicle
The stereo and navigation system of a vehicle in the parking lot at 2777 Buckingham Dr. was taken between the hours of 11:50 p.m. on Feb. 23 and 7:45 a.m. on Feb. 24. An unknown assailant or assailants smashed the passenger side window to access the vehicle, according to reports.
