Blotter: Attempted Burglary, Driving Under the Influence

Driving under the influence
Kara Janell Lenard, 27, of the 2300 block of Barkridge Court was arrested at 1:55 a.m. on Dec. 16 in the 800 block of North Washington Street and East Ogden Avenue, said. She was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding and driving without insurance. Her bail was $3,000.

Attempted burglary
officers responded to a business on the 4900 block of Indiana Avenue to investigate an attempted burglary on Dec. 19. Unknown persons attempted to gain access to the business by damaging the front door between 5:40 p.m. on Dec. 16 and 7:15 a.m. on Dec. 19. No items were missing from inside the business, according to reports.

Driving while license suspended
Ellie M. Hall, 50, of Naperville, was charged with driving while license suspended on Dec. 18 at 3:10 p.m. after being stopped for a safety violation. Hall was released on bond.
