Benet Academy Student Injured In School Bus Incident

A 14-year-old student was struck by a bus in front of the school's entrance, according to Lisle Police.

A student was injured Thursday afternoon in a school bus incident, according to Lisle Police. The 14-year-old student was reportedly struck by a bus near the school's north Yackley Avenue entrance.

The student was transported to in Naperville and suffered foot injuries. Six students that were inside the bus were not injured, according to the report.

According to Lisle Police Department Watch Cmdr. Ron Wilke, the student was discharged from the hospital and 'is in good spirits.'

No citations have been issued at this time. Calls to the and Benet Academy were not immediately returned.
