Bellwood Man Charged With Murder of Bensenville Store Clerk

Kenneth Bardlett is expected in bond court Wednesday morning. He is charged with first-degree murder.

A 20-year-old Bellwood man has been charged with the Jan. 14 murder of store clerk Husein Saghir at Sam's Tobacco and Foodmart in Bensenville, according to a DuPage County State's Attorney press release. 

Kenneth Bardlett, of 49th Avenue in Bellwood, is charged with one count of first degree murder. He is expected to appear in bond court at 8 a.m. Wednesday at the DuPage County Sheriff's Office in Wheaton. 

Bardlett has also been charged with one count of attempted armed robbery. No further information is available at this time.
