Man Charged With Aggravated DUI, Leaving Accident Scene: Police Blotter

Here is an item from the Village of Lisle Police Department blotter on May 5.

Said E. Garcia, 24, of the 700 block of West 65th Street, Westmont, was charged with the following:

  • Aggravated DUI
  • Driving while license revoked
  • Leaving the scene of an accident

Garcia was arrested at 3:56 a.m. May 5 at Kingston Avenue and Rolling Drive after a Lisle police officer conducted a traffic stop. The stop was made following a domestic disturbance call for service, according to a police report.

Garcia is accused of purposely driving his vehicle into three parked vehicles following a domestic situation with his girlfriend, the report said. He was processed at the Lisle Police Department and released into the custody of the DuPage County Jail, where he is being held on $2,000 bond.

Garcia will be transferred to the custody of U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement, also known as ICE, once he is released from the DuPage County Jail, according to jail records.
