Puppy Mill Shut Down In Lisle

The dogs are finally out of the back room of the Puppy Mill Parlor.   The Almost Home Foundation has 35 dogs that are in bad shape.  Donations, volunteers, and foster homes are needed.   The picture you see, is a before and after.  The dogs are finally receiving the care they deserve.  No more cages.  No more dark rooms.  No more scary noises.  Real food, not dumpster dived expired food.  Real bowls to drink from.  Real affection and love from a person, not a monster.  No more drunks scaring and abusing them.  The ages of the dogs that have spent their entire life in a cage range from 1 year to 5 years, 5 months.   That is what you call animal cruelty and should never ever have been allowed to go on for years and years.  This was NOT a pet store.  This was a puppy mill on Main Street in Lisle.

Tammy is a hoarder in my opinion, and she probably has dogs somewhere locked in cages.  We’ll find them eventually.

I would like to thank all the volunteers from the West Suburban Humane Society, every single person who gave up their time and stood with us, the people who drove by and honked in support, all the kids in the neighborhood who stood by us, all the wonderful residents of Lisle who helped in some way, etc.

Special thanks to the Almost Home Foundation who took in these poor dogs and are currently dealing with some horrible health issues.

When you drive down Ogden and look over at the strip mall where the store used to be, think of the unnecessary cruelness and abuse that went on behind closed doors for years and years.  Then think about who you vote for in the next upcoming election because those are the people who should be held responsible.  They are as guilty as Tammy Coglianese.
