The Woman’s Club is collecting new unisex socks (preferably tube socks) to give to the veterans.  Donations of socks can be dropped off through October 26th at: Lisle Savings Bank (both the Main St. and Maple Ave. locations), Lisle Park District, Lisle VFW, Trinity Church Grounds for Hope Café, Lisle Library, Lisle High School Key Club, and to any Woman’s Club member.

The Lisle Woman’s Club celebrated its 50th anniversary in September.  It is affiliated with the international General Federation of Women’s Clubs.  The local club is in the Fifth District of the Illinois GFWC.
