Disapointed in the police!

 My 14 year old son and friend were chased down by a man because they were skateboarding. My Son ran and hid all while the guy was threatening his life he actually pushed my sons friend. My sons legs were all cut up from running from this man! My husband even saw him actively looking for the boys again because as he said to my husband he was going to blank them up. When I went out there he was still threatening to kill my son and his friend. My son was horrified and in tears when we finally found him. So we called the police. Let me just say this is the first time my son ever had to speak to an officer and the officer was very aggressive with the boys his tone was so very harsh. Thank you officer for teaching two teenage boys to be scared of the police and not to trust you!Especially two boys that were scared!  I wanted to sign a complaint and have this grown man arrested for what he did to the boys " Even I heard the man threatening the boys and my husband saw him actively chasing them.. The Lisle police have decided there is nothing to press charges for!! I have raised my children to respect the police to treat them like super heroes " because honestly most of them are". I am so distraught about what happened and how I was treated. It makes me sad to live in Lisle now and nervous to call the police for help. We have been happy residents for 12 years here. So this is completely shocking to me ! I was told to call the district attorney's office if I wanted to do anything more. Police are here to protect and serve, but I guess if you are a teenage boy that does not apply to you!!

 Now my son wants me to go with him everywhere outside because he is scared of this grown man. It is very sad!
